“I am an artist emerging after retiring that loves both sculpting and painting. My artistic goals are to tell a story, make a statement, or capture the essence in a portrait of a person, pet, or vehicle.
I fell in love with cars at 12 years old when my dad brought home a then classic, now antique, 1957 Chevy. Since then, I view many cars and motorcycles as functional, rolling works of art. One of my most exciting artistic accomplishments to date is winning a “best in show” award for a Porsche 911 oil painted portrait where the judge was the lead designer from Porsche Corporation that designed that very model.
As I continue to grow my body of vehicle portrait artworks, I have met so many people that love and keep a special fun car, truck or motorcycle tucked away in a garage reserved for sunny summer drives with a loved one or car show with friends. I hope my paintings and sculpture give the viewer a similar feeling of the same joy they experience while sending time with their special someone or vehicle.“
