Join us for the second Friday of the month for Arts Night Out.
December 13th, 2019 we welcome Madge Evers to the shop as our first artist. Images from Evers’s 2019 Herbarium and 2017 Iterations series will be shown. Evers uses materials she grows or forages to make images that “explore the sweet spot between accident and design.” The Herbarium series is an interpretation of the practice of preserving plant specimens for scientific study and was inspired by Emily Dickinson’s Herbarium. Evers’s mushroom spore prints are described as “at the nexus of printmaking, antique photography, and environmental studies” by Juliet Feibel, Executive Director of ArtsWorcester. The work will be on display through December 31st. Please join us from 5-8pm. Bar will be open.
